The course was very practical. You would the read the material (books or articles) on a particular topic and you could talk about it and see how it fits within your current organisation. My previous academic degrees (MBA and Masters in Management) were more focused on the theories. In a small business you are ‘it’ so you tend not to have anyone to talk with about day-to-day business.
