Fast>>Track Advanced Diploma of Business (Human Resources) BSB60301

Managing people and your HR responsibilities can be the most challenging part of any manager’s role. You are efficient, focused and enthusiastic, but sometimes you feel like the leader of a three-ring circus!

Help is at hand with UB’s new Fast>>Track Advanced Diploma of Business (Human Resources). Created specifically to assist managers to develop their ’people’ and HRM skills. Training will mix easily into your already hectic schedule via a series of one-day workshops over a six month period — Fast>>Track style — and is assessed through workshop participation and a series of reports and projects that draw upon your own work environment and experiences.

The Fast>>Track methodology has been developed by the University of Ballarat to meet the growing need for formal qualifications in the human resource discipline. The key to the program is that the participants are able to apply knowledge or assigned findings directly to their workplace environments. This commonsense program equips you with the skills and competencies you need to help your team perform effectively and harmoniously.

The program is suited to new and existing managers as well as HR generalists and small to medium business operators. Via this nationally recognised course you will reflect upon your personal leadership style and the characteristics of your staff. You will discover, design and implement strategic planning techniques. Most importantly you will learn how to generate a positive work environment in which the well-being of individual team-members is key, while achieving the respect of your staff and the gratitude of your organisation and its clients.

During the six month training period all units are assessed for competency in accordance with the ANTA Business Services Training Package for the Advanced Diploma of Business (Human Resources). Once completed, participants are eligible to enter the Masters of Business Administration or Masters of Business Management program at University of Ballarat.
