Business ManagementAdvanced Diploma of Business Management BSB60201The Fast>>Track Advanced Diploma of Business Management is a methodology developed by the University of Ballarat to meet the growing need for formal qualifications in the business management discipline. The program taps into the existing competencies of managers and through a series of workshops and assignments, gives the participants the skills and competencies to successfully manage businesses and people in an ever-changing workplace. UB delivers the Fast>>Track Advanced Diploma of Business Management to individuals via public groups deliveries across Australia.
PathwaysThe program is conducted over a six month period and during that time all units are assessed for competency in accordance with the ANTA Business Services Training Package for the Advanced Diploma of Business Management. The units offered cover a wide range of management issues as well as opportunities to undertake practical assessment of current work like situations. The key to the program is that the participants will be able to apply knowledge or assigned findings directly to their workplace environments. Once completed participants are eligible to enter the Masters of Business Administration or Masters of Business Management program at University of Ballarat. The program is delivered via an innovative method designed for managers who have extensive experience but lack formal qualifications. The method of delivery is nine full day workshops in a “boardroom style” format that facilitates discussion and sharing of management experiences and information within the group. Two half day workshops introduce and summarise the course. Participants are required to read selected chapters from the texts in preparation for each workshop. The management theory is then discussed and learning facilitated. An assignment for that unit is then required before the next workshop. Therefore participants need to devote more than five to eight hours a week non contact time to meet the demands of the program. Benefits for the organisation
