 Wages and Contracts

An apprentice/trainee is generally covered by the same employment conditions as other employees. However, they are also subject to the conditions of a training contract.

The training contract is an agreement that the employer and the apprentice/trainee sign detailing the on-the-job training the employer will provide. It also confirms any off-the-job training you will get, which is delivered by a registered training organisation (University of Ballarat).

To find out more information visit the Victorian State Government Website.
