About Hospitality Studies
The UB Tec Hospitality course provides you with an introduction to the industry and operations. The focus of this course is on basic service functions to guests and introduces students to working within a socially diverse environment.
This program provides guidance on hygiene and sanitation, regulations and safe food handling practices. Participants will gain valuable insights into the prevention of food related spoilage and poisoning.

Fees
Tuition fees are set by the Victorian State Government. An Amenities Fee and a Materials Fee are set by the University of Ballarat and students are advised of these when an application is received. Students may be eligible for a concession at the time of enrolment.
