(21560VIC - Pre-Apprenticeship) Certificate II in Automotive Technology
Certificate II in Automotive Technology Studies units are selected from the Pre-Apprenticeship descriptor for motor mechanics. It is best suited to students seeking a career in the automotive industry. It covers the competency to carry out research activities and perform generic mechanical tasks that are encountered in the automotive industry sector (light vehicle). Students are required to prepare for and plan tasks, carry out planned tasks to industry standards and produce a technical report. Students who complete this Certificate II in Automotive Technology Studies will be eligible to pursue an Australian Apprenticeship.

Fees
Tuition fees are set by the Victorian State Government. An Amenities Fee and a Materials Fee are set by the University of Ballarat and students are advised of these when an application is received. Students may be eligible for a concession at the time of enrolment.
