Career Counselling



Are you unsure of your career direction? Maybe your course has led you to re-think your direction.

Take positive action - discuss your ideas and concerns with a counsellor to clarify your goals for the future.

Career Counselling (Free)

Career Counsellors are available to assist students to make informed decisions about courses. This is a free service. Careers Counselling can help increase your awareness of the choices in education, training and employment that are most suited t you, and helps you to plan ahead, make realistic decisions, and take position action.

Career Guidance Testing (Fee for Service)

Understand how your interests and strengths match a variety of careers so that you can make realistic decisions.

You may elect to complete Career Guidance Testing for which there is a charge of $53 for students (General public $320). This is a more formal process to clarify your particular strengths and interests. This involves:

  • Initial discussion to clarify goals and explain process;
  • One hour appointment to complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Inventory;
  • One hour appointmnet feeback of results.
  • A Self Directed Career search to complete at home;
  • One hour session to discuss outcomes and the choices you might further explore.
