United Nations Youth Association Victoria
The Thant Trophy Competition is run annually on behalf of the United Nations Youth Association of Australia (Victoria). The competition is open to students in year 10, 11 and 12. Teams of two students debate draft UN resolutions acting as ambassadors of one of the fifteen member nations of the Security Council on a host of topics ranging from the environment to terrorism to nation-building. The UNYA used the University of Ballarat's Founders Theatre for their debate.

Child & Family Services
Each participant will have mentors throughout the whole experience and will be encouraged to participate in a range of educational activities, which will involve personal journaling, reflection, discussion, and creative activities. This journey will allow the participants to develop skills and abilities when working in groups and individually. City of Ballarat and Committee for Ballarat
Lake Blitz is a joint initiative of the Committee for Ballarat, City of Ballarat and The Lake Foundation. All funds raised go towards the rejuvenation of the Lake Wendouree precinct. The University of Ballarat purchased a place along the boardwalk and had naming rights to the Kids Day Out fundraiser event.

Golden City Paddle Steamer Museum Society Inc.

Royal Australian Navy Band
South West Regional Tour of Victoria by the combined Sydney and Melbourne bands of the Royal Australian Navy. The RAN presented a 60 minute concert totalling 65 musicians to local schools and colleges. The concert was held at the University's Founder's Theatre.
