School of NursingThe School of Nursing at the University of Ballarat offers innovative programs for nurses, midwives and other health professionals. We are located at Mt Helen (Ballarat)and Horsham. The School has strong partnerships with health care providers and other universities, providing students with breadth and depth of experience. The School of Nursing offers numerous non-award and award courses, ranging from bridging programs to the Doctor of Philosophy, which provide a balance between theory and practice. Staff and students work in a dynamic, collegial environment, centered around the learning needs of students. Students find that staff are friendly, approachable and willing to work with small groups and individuals to help them achieve their learning goals.
