From small meetings to seminars, planning days to association gatherings, the Caro Convention Centre offers a relaxed environment, professional service, flexible venues and unmatched facilities to provide a diverse and memorable conferencing experience.
FUNCTION AND FLEXIBLE FACILITIES.
The functional layout and flexible nature of the recently refurbished Centre makes it possible to cater for a range of group sizes and activities. The 670 seat 1870 Founders Theatre is complemented by a series of smaller rooms and venues. A secondary space with mobile seating accommodates up to 170 people and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities. Four large ‘breakout’ rooms for 20-30 people and four more ‘syndicate’ rooms for groups of six or eight generate a range of options.
Convention co-ordinators are also offered a private office for their exclusive use during the conference.
Wireless LAN connections and data projection is available in all rooms. Full-scale staging facilities, including sound, lighting and production, are also available.
Beyond the Convention Centre, clients have access to the University’s entire infrastructure upon request. An extensive network of lecture theatres, computer facilities and workshop rooms are available throughout the Mt Helen Campus.
CUSTOMISED PACKAGES.
The University will customise packages to suit the specific needs of its clients - arranging accommodation, catering, transport and entertainment. From morning tea to a multiple course meal – the catering options are extensive. Entertaining space is modular and can be divided or opened up to house formal or informal gatherings, with seating for in excess of 500 people.

And when thoughts turn to recreation, UB also delivers. A large, heated indoor pool, fully equipped fitness centre and gymnasium, sports oval, tennis courts and bushwalking trails all offer a pleasant diversion. In fact, the qualified staff at UniSports can organise and deliver lifestyle and fitness sessions as part of the conference program!
