Function Facilities
The University of Ballarat Function Facilities is located at the University’s Mt Helen Campus.

Whilst the dining facilities are located on University grounds, the surrounds are overtaken by native wildlife and eucalyptus bush vegetation, which makes this the ideal venue for a wedding reception, 21st celebration or any special occasion.

The modern dining area provides a functional space seating up to 500 guests and has the flexibility of sectioning off up to 4 areas, ranging in capacity of 60 to 300 guests. In addition, the surrounding fully landscaped outdoor area and a relaxing lounge area can be dedicated to more casual gatherings.

The dining area is equipped with a state-of-the-art audio visual system, with the option of a stage area and dance floor.

The menu incorporates modern Australian cuisine and all meals are freshly prepared, onsite, by our dedicated function chefs. In conjunction with the menu, the dining area boosts two bars, with a flexible wine list of popular wines to suit the needs of your occasion. The bar also stocks local and imported beer, a full range of spirits and liqueurs as well as pre-mixed drinks.

The devoted catering staff at the University are with you the whole way, from the initial planning and organisation of the function, to the successful management of your special night.
