RJ Young Scholarship

Students must be enrolled full-time or part-time in a Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma course at the University of Ballarat, SMB Campus, for the 2013 Academic Year.

In so far as possible, preference will be given to applicants who are employees or children of employees of Pasminco Port Pirie Smelter (formerly Broken Hill Associated Smelters).

Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to apply.

Applications will be assessed on financial circumstances; academic performance; commitment to educational achievement; and objectives of study. Termination of studies by the holder will automatically cancel the Scholarship.

Please note that scholarship application does not guarantee you a place in the course of your choice.

Value: There are eight scholarships, each valued at $4,000.
