Non-Award Fees
A Non-award enrolment applies to a prospective student who seeks to enrol for 1
or more units within an academic year for professional development or personal
interest. A non-award programme of study is a programme which does not lead
to an award but which is comprised of a unit or units of study from an award
course at the institution, which can be counted as credit towards an award
course at the institution.
DOMESTIC STUDENTS - ON CAMPUS
Undergraduate Non-award Fees
In the case where the unit undertaken as non-award forms part of an
undergraduate course of study the non-award fee for that unit will be the
undergraduate domestic tuition fee for that course by the EFTSL of the unit
undertaken. For example, if the undergraduate domestic tuition fee for the
course is $10,470 and the unit EFTSL was .125 then the non-award fee would be:
$10,470 x .125 = $1,308.75.
Postgraduate Non-award Fees
In the case where the unit undertaken as non-award forms part of a postgraduate
course of study the non-award fee for that unit will be the postgraduate
domestic tuition fee for that course by the EFTSL of the unit undertaken.
For example, if the postgraduate domestic tuition fee for the course is
$10,000 and the unit EFTSL was .125 then the non-award fee would be:
$10,000 x .125 = $1,250.00.
If a non-award unit of study undertaken does not form part of an undergraduate
or postgraduate fee-paying course of study then the non-award fee will be the
applicable student contribution amount per unit.
Fees are non-refundable after the respective unit census date.
