The University has six campuses: Mt Helen, Camp Street and SMB (all in Ballarat)
and a campus in the each of the regional cities of Ararat, Stawell and Horsham.

Mt Helen Campus

Most of the University’s undergraduate and
postgraduate degree programs are located at the Mt Helen campus, 10 kilometers from
Ballarat city. The campus has modern teaching and research facilities, library, studios, lecture
theatres, student residences, student union and outstanding sporting facilities.
A Technology Centre also forms part of the campus; a number of Australian companies located
here include high-tech start-ups, and the State Revenue Office, while the international presence
is held by IBM's South East Asia's Pacific office.

Camp Street Campus

The Arts Academy is based at the stunning new Camp Street campus in the city centre.
The Camp Street precinct is comprised of the University’s state-of the art visual and performing
arts complex, teaching studios and student apartments, surrounded by theatres, cafes,
craft galleries and the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery.

SMB Campus

Located in the heart of Ballarat, the SMB campus provides modern teaching facilities
within the historic and attractive environment of the School of Mines
complex dating back to 1870. The campus houses the TAFE (Polytechnic) Division, which
offers certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses.

Ararat, Stawell and Horsham Campuses
|

The University’s remaining campuses are located in the
rural cities of Ararat, Stawell and Horsham in western Victoria.
They provide TAFE (Polytechnic courses). International students do not
enrol at these campuses.

Other Australian Sites
|
A number of University of Ballarat courses are taught to international students in other
locations in Australia by institutions associated with the University. These courses are
taught by the staff of those institutions. If you want to study at one of

The University of Ballarat has a growing international
profile and presence through teaching, research and
consultancy. We currently deliver a range of professional diploma and degree
courses in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
