Prospective students are encouraged to apply for Accommodation from August the year before they intend to begin their studies. ie: begin studies in February 2007, apply for Halls of Residence from 6th August, 2006, OPEN DAY.
Although there is no closing date for applications those received after the announcement of VTAC Offers will only be considered for vacancies that become available during the year.
2007 1st Round VTAC Offers will be published on Tuesday 16th January 2007, 1st Round Accommodation Offers are made and sent out in the mail the same day.
Applicants who are currently studying at the university in 2006, but do not live on Residence need to apply before 13th October 2006. Applicants are required to attend an interview with the Residential Life Manager and will be notified of the dates and time for this interview. Successful applicants will receive a letter of offer via mail after 13th November, 2006. Offers need to be accepted and payment of acceptance fee (4 weeks rent)received by 4pm 24th November 2006.
Mid Year Applications
The University has a smaller intake of students mid year. Some accommodation places become available due to graduations and International Exchange Students returning home.
We are still accepting applications for SECOND SEMESTER 2006 however generally applications for second semester consideration should be lodged in May and before the end of June. Successful Australian applicants will be notified three weeks prior to the commencement of Semester 2 via mail. International Applicants will be notified via e-mail.
