Within the Halls and Residences of the Univerity or Ballarat, we aim to provide the ideal residential environment by encouraging a balanced living, learning environment for all students.

Student Hard at worK.

The Residential Life Team provides leadership to students in balancing their living, learning experience as well as providing pastoral care for all students within all Halls and Residences. The aim of pastoral care within the living, learning environment is to focus upon needs of the whole student; physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and educational.

Leadership Opportunities on Res

The leadership opportunities with each Hall & Residence are many and varied. Students can be involved in the Residential Support Team or the Residence Societies as well as becoming Academic, ICT or International Mentors.

The "Orientation to Res" program includes Academic Mentoring Sessions for 1st Year students by providing support and guidance aiming to help maintain students in their course and within the Halls and Residences in which they live.

An "On-going Student Support Network" is available for 2nd, 3rd & 4th Year students, providing advice and guidance in the areas of academic achievement and course selection.
