Moving from secondary college into the world of higher education involves all sorts of changes and challenges; some students relocate from their country or city homes or even internationally to attend the university of their choice. The University of Ballarat Accommodation and Hospitality Services Section will assist you with this transition by providing a number of accommodation options to suit your budget and the lifestyle you picture for your university experience.
The University of Ballarat Residences offer comfortable, single fully furnished study-bedrooms with in room data providing access to the university network. Communal living areas consist of TV/Lounge room and fully equipped kitchens. Laundry facilities are also available at all residences. Accommodation Services is an environmentally aware department and a Water Wise Community.

Accommodation Services also have an number of Managed Houses available to students who prefer to live off campus with a smaller group of people but would still like to have the staff support provided for emergencies, maintenance issues and lockouts.

How to Apply
Applications are open to everyone applying to study at the University of Ballarat who meet the Selection Criteria.
Accommodation applications for 2009 can be lodged online after OPEN DAY, Sunday 31st August 2008. You should apply for UB Accommodation early as we always have more applications than we have rooms available - Please don't wait for your VTAC offer as this may be too late.

1st complete the Online Survey & Application.
Then forward application payment as directed.
