With
a little help from our friends...
At
the 2002 Scotia Ball , we were very fortunate
to be presented with a number of cheques from our fantastic
friend Colin Rogers. The Rogers have been great friends
of the band and it was terrific that they consider the
band a worthy group to support.
FUNDRAISING:
Due
to the cost of running and maintaining a competitive
Band, fundraising during the off season requires a major
effort from members. The Band holds a Debutante Ball
and the Scotia Ball each year.

Balls:
Two Deb Balls were organised by Sue and Leanne in 2003
- a very big thank you for what was a huge job.
Scotia
Ball:
A very successful and enjoyable Scotia Ball was held
on 21 August 2004 at the Bray Raceway.
Shopping
Trip: Start
thinking about who you can invite. This is not only
a lot of fun (just ask Brian Ryan) but it is also a
wonderful fundraiser for the band.
The
involvement with the University of Ballarat has been
very successful and enables the Band to award scholarships
to people within the Band, or to encourage pipers and
drummers to study at the University of Ballarat and
play with our Band.
