Confirmation of Candidature Seminars 2008

Students who are enrolled in a PhD or Professional Doctorate program must, within twelve months of enrolment, present their research proposal and defend it before an audience, which includes a panel convened to assess the merit of the proposal and the quality of the candidate's research progress within that time frame. These seminars are open for all who are interested to attend.

Students must provide a summary of their research proposal to RAGSO, either directly or via their School Administration Officer. RAGSO does not want the full proposal. The summary is used for informing interested parties about the nature of the research topic, providing them with the means to decide whether to attend the seminar to hear the research presented.

The schedule of seminars is listed in the table below in order of date of occurrence.
