The Research & Graduate Studies Office is the central administration area for the Committees detailed below.

• Research Committee
• Research Higher Degrees Sub-Committee (Until 2007, named Research Higher Degrees Committee)
• Human Research Ethics Committee
• Animal Ethics Committee
• Institutional Bio Safety Committee
• Institute for Regional & Rural Research & Innovation Committees

Each School has a designated School Research, Research Higher Degrees and Ethics Coordinator (SR,RHDEC). The Coordinator is usually the Chair of the School Research Committee
