Cluster Details 2008
The University's annual one-day Research Conference will be held on Wednesday the 5th of November 2008. The aim of the conference is to showcase the exciting research work being conducted by our higher degree by research students and early career researchers, and to promote the significance and applicability of this research knowledge to the national benefit. The keynote speakers for this year will be Professor Peter Gell and Dr Maryann Brown.
Much of the research conducted by UB staff and students is built through strong collaboration with industry partners, and makes a direct contribution to economic development, environmental sustainability, cultural progress and social capital in regional Australia.
The research conference will consist of a series of concurrent sessions clustered according to research areas. All honours, postgraduate students and early career researchers are invited to submit an abstract. The abstract can relate to any aspect of research including theoretical analysis, empirical results, work in progress, creative works, completed thesis chapters, and so forth.
The Postgraduate Association will hold a Dinner on the evening of Wednesday 5 November.
