  • UB's 2007 Statement of Statement of Intent: UB will be a leader in creating and applying knowledge of international standard that is of benefit to our region and beyond. Much of our research will be applied, and our knowledge transfer will use the skills, expertise and innovative ideas from our staff to generate significant practical and commercial benefits for our partners, ourselves and the communities we serve. We will nurture the capabilities of our staff expertise, and expand our research base in areas of focused and recognized excellence.
