Postgraduate Research Scholarships

The University of Ballarat offers a range of scholarships for higher degree by research candidates. Scholarships are offered for full-time study of PhD's, Professional Doctorates and Masters by Research within the University's 8 Schools:

• Arts Academy;
• Business;
• Behavioural and Social Sciences and Humanities;
• Education;
• Human Movement and Sport Sciences;
• Nursing;
• Information Technology and Mathematical Sciences; and
• Science and Engineering.

Limited Offer Scholarships available:

• Essendon Football Club (EFC) and the School of Human Movement and Sport Sciences, University of Ballarat (UB) (At least $75,000 over 3 years)
• University of Ballarat Internet Commerce Security Postgraduate Research Scholarship ($120,000 over 3 years)
• Alex Rubinov Research Scholarship ($72024 over 3 years)

Annual Scholarships available:

• University of Ballarat Postgraduate Research Scholarships ($19,231 p.a.)
• Part Postgraduate Research  Scholarships ($9,615.50 p.a.) are available. Part scholarships may be supplemented by teaching assistantships from Schools of the University.
• Australian Postgraduate Awards with stipend ($19,231 p.a.)
• Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (Course fees only)
• Special Overseas Student Scholarships (Course fees funded by Schools)

• Expression of Interest for Scholarship form, which must be completed by the student to be considered for a scholarship, can be obtained by clicking here
• Scholarship Application Form, which must be completed by the student's School Research, Research Higher Degree & Ethics Coordinator if the student is considered eligible to apply for a scholarship, can be obtained by clicking here
