Progress Reports

Interim Progress Reports: The RAGSO will forward the Interim Progress Report forms to the SR, RHD & EC during the third week in October of each year.

The SR, RHD & EC will distribute the documentation to all Principal Supervisors in their School.

Principal Supervisors will meet with students and complete the Interim Progress Report form. The SR, RHD & EC will sign the reports and return them to the RAGSO by the second Friday in December of each year.

If a candidate is unsure of the date on which they should submit the form they should contact the Research & Graduate Studies Office.

Annual Progress Reports: The RAGSO will provide the Annual Progress Report form to the SR, RHD & EC during the last week in June of each year.

The SR, RHD & EC will distribute the forms to the Principal Supervisors and confirm the School timelines regarding the completion of the forms. As a guide, the Principal Supervisor should complete their section of the form during July.

Principal Supervisors are to meet with students and Associate Supervisors as soon as possible, preferably during July.

The SR, RHD & EC will coordinate the scheduling of the annual interview appointments. The Head of School or SR, RHD & EC acts as a Principal Supervisor a suitable nominee, appointed by the Head of School, should conduct the annual interview.

Heads of School are to endorse the Annual Progress Report forms. If a student intends to apply for Leave from Studies, the student must complete the approved Leave from Studies form. Students are only permitted to apply for six months Leave from Studies at a time. All Annual Progress Report forms must be returned to the RAGSO by the third Friday in August each year.
