fIRST
for Improving Research Supervision and TrainingThe Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & Research), Professor Wayne Robinson, and the Dean of Graduate Studies, Professor Erica Smith, are pleased to continue to offer the University of Ballarat's online research training program 'For Improving Research Supervision and Training' (fIRST), available since 2006. All registered supervisors are encouraged to access this program and carryout, and reflect on, online activities. Supervisors are encouraged to include students in various sections as appropriate (eg literature reviews). It is intended to hold a series of Supervisors Workshops based on various aspects of the program. The following pages summaries the contents of fIRST and provide links to various sections/activities.
