Graduate Diploma
The Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hazard Management is the longest running and most respected
OHS course in Australia with more than 600 graduates across the Asia-Pacific region. 26 years of
rich history and tradition have accumulated to produce one of the most respected OHS
qualifications in Australia.
The course is conducted over two years on a part-time basis. Attendance at UB’s Mt Helen Campus
in Ballarat involves two blocks of classes each year. Each block is of three weeks duration. The
teaching blocks are a popular feature that has led to the building of extensive professional
networks and long-term friendships amongst our graduates.
Students participate in group work sessions and classes during the oncampus blocks, followed by
assignments based on the workplace during the off-campus time. The program comprises 8 units of study
(the 4 Graduate Certificate units plus four additions units).

The individual learning tasks encourage application of acquired knowledge and development and refinement of ideas, so the
