The School of Science and Engineering offers a limited number of work experience places in the following fields:

• Food Science
• Geology
• Environmental Management
• Metallurgy
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mining Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Biomedical Science
• General Science

This offer is available to Year 10 or 11 students who are interested in science or engineering and who want to know more about these careers and the study involved.

During work experience students can expect to be involved in a variety of projects such as assisting with research and data handling, field trips and/or experimental work and attending some first year classes.
