Corangamite Region web-GIS

Welcome to the website for the University of Ballarat Interoperable Spatial Database for the Corangamite region. The University of Ballarat in partnership with the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority are proud to make available the results of this significant project. 

Introduction

The main driver for this project is the historical difficulty of getting the most current Natural Resource Management data into an environment where it can be shared with and accessed by catchment managers, researchers, consultants, municipalities, government agencies and members of the general public. The following datasets have been assembled by the University of Ballarat geology department (and collaborators) through research, investigation and monitoring undertaken in recent years through the Corangamite salinity and soils programs.
