Bachelor of Applied
Science (Honours) in Environmental Management
Honours coordinator:
Graeme Ambrose
In addition to the
three year degree, candidates with above average marks may elect to do
a further year of study for the degree of Bachelor of Applied Science
(Honours) (Environmental Management). The course will normally be taken
as one year of full-time study, although part-time study and mid-year
entry are available. There are three components of study, one of which
is an elective; the other units involve the production of a research thesis,
(which includes training in research methodology) and a literature review.
Essentially the Honours degree is intended to provide training in research.
This may be an end in itself or used as qualification for entry to a higher
degree program.
