The Structure of Pro-Lie groups and Locally Compact Groups
The task is to describe the structures of both of the important classes of groups. The outcome was a research book titled "The Lie Theory of Connected Pro-Lie Groups", published by the European Mathematical Society Publishing House in 2007.
