Aims

This workshop aims at bringing together experts from Australia, Pacific region and around world in the area of optimization theory, methods and applications to meet and exchange their recent research findings and to discuss possible joint projects.

  1. Shuttle Bus to Ballarat: Shuttle Bus leaves from Tullamarine Airport (Melbourne), cost is $25AUD one way or $45AUD return. http://www.airportshuttlebus.com.au

    Shuttle Bus departs Tullamarine Monday to Friday: 6.45am, 7.45am, 9.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 5.00pm, and 7.15pm. Bus departs from Ground Floor Regional Bus Stop, Centre Rd opposite the International Terminal. Seats are limited and reservations MUST be made.

  2. Trains from Melbourne City to Ballarat: Trains leave from Melbourne city, shuttle to the train station are available from Tullamarine Airport. For latest times and prices please visit: http://www.vline.com.au/timetables

    2. Tuesday 28th November: A bus will collect delegates from the Sovereign Park Motor Inn or the Comfort Inn Main Lead at 8.00 a.m. and transfer them to the University off Ballarat, Mt Helen Campus in time for the 8.00 a.m. – 9.00 a.m. registrations.

    3. Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th November: A bus will collect delegates from the Sovereign Park Motor Inn and the Comfort Inn Main Lead at 8.30a.m. and deliver them to the University of Ballarat, Mt Helen Campus.

    4. Wednesday 29th November: A bus will collect delegates from the Sovereign Park Motor Inn and Comfort Inn Main Lead at 6.30 p.m. and deliver them to the workshop dinner which will commence at 7.00 p.m. Delegates will be returned to their accommodation at 10.00 p.m.

    5. A bus will collect delegates from the University of Ballarat Mt Helen Campus after the workshop at 5.45pm each day and return delegates to their accommodation.
