The ICOTA 2004 conference will be held
at the Unversity of Ballarat Mount Helen Campus in our state
of the art conference centre (room C001). Ballarat Lodge, Comfort Inn Main Lead and Sovereign Park Motor Inn are located on Main Road, and are approximately 6-7 kilometres from the Mount Helen Campus. Craigs Royal Hotel and Mid City Motor Inn are located in the city centre and approximately 10 kilometres from the Campus. For more information, including maps, see the transportation page. University of Ballarat Mount Helen Campus Located 10 kilometres from the centre of Ballarat, the campus is set on 110 hectares of natural bushland and provides sporting and leisure activities including an indoor swimming pool/aquatic facility, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, an all weather athletics track, two gymnasiums, a weight training studio, dance studio, squash courts, a canoeing lake and several sports fields. CentreThe conference centre incorporates a 350 seat lecture theatre fully equipped with data, video and slide projection. In addition the complex also includes 4 smaller workshop rooms. |
