Statement of Purpose
The School of Human Movement and Sport Sciences will continue to deliver sought after quality educational programs, expand its research and consultancy activities and effectively engage with its partners and community. The School will strive to increase its involvement with the International community in selected programs.
Statements of Intent
- Continued development of the School's research profile.
- Program development in Sports Management.
- Maintain demand for current programs.
- Maintain quality programs.
- Increase tenders and contract research within a sustainable framework.
- Enhance the reputation and viability of Unisports.
- Enhance staff development through leave and funding opportunities.
- Physical space redevelopment and expansion to accommodate extra academic, general and contract research staff.
- Maintenance and replacement of equipment.
- Expand the international program.
The objectives are important to us and drive our activity in that part of our operation. We have an operational plan with a staff member responsible for the strategy and implementation of that objective.
