Golden Key 2008 Membership Recruitment Drive and Awareness Campaign

The University of Ballarat is proud to host its own Golden Key Chapter. Chartered in 2000, the Chapter aims to provide its members with opportunities to connect with fellow UB Golden Key members, participate in various social and networking activities and help further Golden Key endeavours within the local community.

Through membership, students have access to:

  • Exclusive career opportunities and assistance through Golden Key's partnerships with major corporations and graduate programs;
  • Over US$400,000 in undergraduate and post graduate scholarships;
  • Career assistance;
  • Leadership opportunities;
  • Discounts; and
  • And other lifetime benefits.

Membership is by invitation only. To be eligible, students must have completed the equivalent of at least 120 credit points of study at the University and be placed within the top 15% of undergraduate students across all qualifications. Invitations are extended on an annual basis, thereby providing students with a number of opportunities to demonstrate their academic potential and be invited to join during their time at the University.

This year’s invitations to all eligible new students will be distributed during March. These will be followed by a Campus Awareness Session on Wednesday 16 April at 12.30pm in H127. This provides an opportunity for prospective new applicants to meet members of the UB Golden Key Executive Committee and find out more about the benefits of membership and how they can get involved.
