Corporate / In-company Programs

Our corporate/in-company programs are co-operative ventures between the School of Business and partner organisations.  The programs are designed to benefit your business or organisation, whilst at the same time allowing individual managers to acquire appropriate tertiary management qualifications. They create the opportunity for organisations to work together with the School of Business to provide management development within the framework of your company needs and a university accredited management qualification.

Our partners have reported many advantages in working with us, linking management development to an innovative and dynamic curriculum. Partnership with the School of Business:

  • ensures that participating managers follow a full range of structured and integrated learning experiences within a reasonable timescale, rather than simply attending isolated short courses on an ad-hoc basis
  • avoids unneccesary repitition of aspects already covered by in-organisation courses
  • strengthens the motivation of individuals to develop a comprehensive range of competencies that facilitates effective management
  • enables in-house training to be recognised and assessed toward a University degree.

Qualifications available through Corporate / In-Company Programs

Graduate Certificate of Management
Graduate Diploma of Management
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Master of Business Management (MBM)

You'll be in good company...

Some of our partners have included Mars Confectionery, McDonalds Corporation, Ballarat Health Services, Manningham City Council, IBM and a local Government consortium.

Teaching/Learning Approaches

We use a wide range of participative and learner centred methods - including both 'action' and programmed learning, case studies and in-company projects. We can also offer outdoor mangement development as part of the learning package.

Your Place or Ours?

We're flexible. Courses are run at times and places convenient to you, as the partner organisation. We are not limited by traditional University terms, nor to attendance at the School of Business.

At present, we work on University premises, at in-house training centres, and at hotels on week-days, weekends and evenings throughout the year according to your needs.
