School of Business Advisory Board
The School of Business Advisory Board was established in 2002 under the initiative
of Professor Julian Lowe, Head, School of Business.
Purpose of the Advisory Board:
- To act as a sounding board for the School
- To be a link between the business academy and the business community
- To be a network to assist with linkages outside the University
- As an ideas generator for potential new projects

Online Research Monitor for Staff and Higher Degree Students
The research monitor serves as a repository of information relating to research being conducted by the School of

CECC Services to UB Clients
The Centre for Electronic Commerce and Communications (CECC) operates as a business unit of University of Ballarat.
Through education, training research and consultancies CECC promotes the advancement of eCommerce, particularly in its
practical application in regional and rural Australia.
CECC has extensive experience in project management and in the development and implementation of eCommerce solutions
and services. The Centre’s approach is characterised by partnerships with geographical communities, regional groups,
businesses and with local, state and federal governments.
