Bachelor of Arts: Psychology - Australian Psychological Society Accredited Sequence

Basic Sequence Requirements To obtain the Australian Psychological Society’s accredited psychology sequence BA students are required to take at least 10 units in psychology: 9 prescribed units and one of five optional units (150 credit points)

HP601 Introduction to Research Methods in Psychology
HP602 Lifespan Developmental Psychology
HP603 Personality
HP604 Social Psychology
HP701 Psychological Testing & Assessment
HP702 Abnormal Psychology*
HP703 Philosophical Issues in Psychology*
HP705 Cognitive Psychology*
HP706 Health Psychology*
HP708 Introduction to Counselling Theory and Practice*
HP709 Psychology of Physical Activity*

Students must do all 500 and 600 year level units, HP701, and two of the six Psychology elective units(*).
