Participants for a research project on critical thinking skills. Participants must have successfully completed one or more of the following Philosophy units at UB between 2005 and 2008 ….

Modern European Philosophy (HH612)
Philosophical Thinking (HH511)
Western Political Philosophy (HX536)
Asian Philosophies (HH621)
Classical Philosophy (HH611)
Ethics and the Age of Enlightenment (HH513)
Screening Self & Other (HX555)
Film, Philosophy & Religion (HX545)
Logic and Reasoning (HH601)

Students eligible to participate will:

Have completed and passed at least one of the Philosophy units listed above in 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008. Note: If you started a Philosophy unit during this time but withdrew from the unit or did not pass the unit, you are not eligible to participate, sorry.

Only complete and submit one questionnaire (if you have already completed this questionnaire and returned it to us via the post, thank you & please do not complete another….!).

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Read the Plain Language Statement which describes the project in detail
2. If you are willing to participate, complete the Questionnaire AND
3. If you would like to enter the draw for a chance to win the Ipod, please complete the Contact Details Form. We need these details so that we are able to notify the lucky winner.
4. Return both the Questionnaire and Contact Details Form via email to: e.morton-allen@ballarat.edu.au
5. If you are willing to be contacted about taking part in a brief interview about critical thinking (see Plain Language Statement for details), please state this in your email.
