Admission is made through VTAC. There
are no specific pre-requisites to the course, however students must complete
a selection process.
Selection is based on:

a written statement from the applicant indicating
their reasons for applying to the welfare course, and any special skills,
interests or experiences which would support their application

referees reports ( a minimum of two) to outline
characteristics

personal strengths and abilities relevant
to working in the welfare industry

an interview may be required
-
academic achievement
Applicants will be offered a provisional place
to be finalised after having passed a Criminal Records check prior to a
place being confirmed.
