Short Courses offered through the Arts Academy

folio preparation workshop September 26th and 27th
The Arts Academy Folio Preparation Workshop is designed for VCE students,
together with mature-age and direct entry prospective art students.
The workshop has an overall emphasis specifically directed at assisting participants to
plan and develop a quality folio of artwork to present at an interview for entry to
University or TAFE arts courses.
Practical sessions are designed to assist participants in the identification of
their strengths and weaknesses and aimed at formulating ideas that will
improve concepts of visual language.
All work sessions combine open-ended activities of two-dimensional, three-dimensional and
design concepts. Participants will also benefit from their insight within an art school at an advanced level.
