Learning Ability Assessments - A Guide for Students

Sometimes students experience difficulties when learning. Not everyone learns in the same way. Students tend to blame themselves and hide when they are experiencing problems. Some of these problems may be:

  • Poor memory
  • Difficulty understanding the course, especially textbooks and notes
  • Lack of knowledge of words
  • Difficulty speaking in class
  • Problems with maths
  • Finding it hard to solve problems
  • Struggling to understand the question no matter how it is explained
  • Lack of organisation
  • Trouble concentrating

There is something you can do, come and talk to a counsellor, just phone and make an appointment:
