Counsellors can offer advice on:

• Budgeting
• Consumer Information/Referrals
• Financial Problems
• Student Loans
• Youth Allowance and Austudy **

**A representative from Centrelink visits the Mt Helen Campus once a week during lecture periods. They can be found in the Counselling area and are available on a drop in basis. Days and times will be advertised via email at the beginning of each term or you can phone or drop in to Counselling and we can advise you.

Tax Help
During July through to the end of October, a Tax Help volunteer, trained by the Australian Taxation Office, is located at the Mt Helen and SMB Campuses to assist low income earners with their taxation returns. This service is advertised over the email and via flyers prior to commencement.
