Citation and referencing

The are a number of citation styles used across the University of Ballarat. The most comonly used styles are APA (American Psychological Association), Australian, Chicago and MLA (Modern Language Association of America). It is important to consult your unit description, lecturer or tutor for the preferred citation style for each subject you undertake.

The Library is able to provide assistance for UB staff and students with citation and referencing queries. Further support is available from:
