Library and Information Skills classes
Our Information Literacy team offers a training program to all UB staff, researchers and students. The aim of the Information Literacy program is to UB staff and students to become lifelong
learners through an ability to:
- identify appropriate information sources
- critically analyse information
- research effectively
- manage information
- use information to extend and communicate their knowledge across subject fields
Our aim will be achieved through a four strand approach:
- InfoSkills and Information Technology classes for newly enrolled students
- Course-integrated InfoSkills classes (TAFE; all levels, Higher Ed; 2nd year to Honours students)
- Post-graduate researcher program
- Academic researcher program
