How do I get a photocopy card? How do I add value to it?UB Undergraduate and TAFE studentsYour UB student ID card is also your photocopy card. If your card is lost or damaged, you can get a new one made at the Mt Helen, SMB or Horsham campus libraries for a cost of $10. If you still have an old 'smart card' ID card (with a microchip on the back), or an older style photocopying card, you will need to get a new ID card made before photocopying. At Mt Helen campus library, terminals are located adjacent to the student photocopiers on Level 0 (entrance level). At SMB, the terminal is located adjacent to the photcopying area. To add value using the terminals provided:
UB staff and Postgraduate studentsMt Helen: By obtaining a PIN (personal identification number) from the administration office in your School/Portfolio/Section, copying can be charged to your School or Portfolio. No card is required when when using PIN system. SMB and Horsham: Staff may present their ID card to Information Desk staff, through which the staff member's department account will be debited. ULA, ub)alumni and Infolink borrowersThese borrowers are provided with an appropriate ID card upon their membership approval. This card may be used for photocopying as per the process for UB students. CAVAL borrowers and members of the publicCAVAL borrowers and members of the public may obtain a temporary photocopy card from their campus library Information Desk. Some other form of ID, such as a drivers license, will be required as a holding deposit. It is recommended that community users only place as much credit on the card as they anticipate requiring for that photocopying session, as refunds cannot be given on temporary cards. |
