University of Ballarat ID Card Keep visitng for the latest information about the NEW ID CARDS!!! The Card!The University is pleased to announce the introduction of the new University of Ballarat ID card. The new UB ID card is a MiFare encode-able and reprogrammable card that will replace existing University student, staff and contractor ID cards. The Uses!The new UB card will enable you to have "One-Card-for-All" functionality. That means you can use various University facilities through a single card. The uses of the card include:
Obtaining a DiscountWhen obtaining a discount using the Student Card, you will need to check with the organisation prior to presenting the card to obtain a discount or waiver of fees. In many cases you will need to provide additional information about your enrolment such as the Statement of Enrolment. Point of Sales (POS)We are now implementing a new Point of Sales (POS) system. This system will enable students to add funds directly to their ID card accounts via EFTPOS. These funds can then be used for photocopying and printing services.
