Learning and Teaching Support

Learning and Teaching Support is one of three groups within the Academic Support Services section of the Administrative and Academic Support Portfolio.

The role of LTS is to support the University's strategic goals in learning and teaching. Key focus areas include:

  • facilitation of educational development to encourage the uptake of contemporary approaches to teaching and learning that cater for the individual needs of learners;
  • specialist support for the development, implementation and evaluation of UB courses, units, and programs;
  • development of learner centred environments and learning communities that encourage all UB staff and students to become independent lifelong learners.

ICT Training

Learning and Teaching Support is also responsible for University-wide Information and Communications Technology training for staff. The ICT Training website can be found at www.ballarat.edu.au/aasp/acsupport/infores/training.
